||Supervises a team of about 20 PhD students, been author and editor of 6 books on environmental economics and policy with international scientific publishers, and contributed to a large number of books and international journals. He acted as chairman of the board of Wageningen Institute for Environment and Climate Research and advisor to the Scientific council for Government Policy.
|Dr. Andries Richter
||Has recently been appointed as an Ass. Prof. starting September 2013, while also being affiliated to CEES. His involvement in this proposal builds therefore a natural bridge between the Nordic Partners and WU. He works on the importance of social norms in solving environmental problems with main field of interest on the transformation of social-ecological systems, the evolution of institutions, and pro-social behavior using quantitative methods, such as evolutionary game theory, or agent-based models. With scientists from CEES he is involved in research projects on optimal management of Norwegian fisheries.
