NordForsk Mobility Grants

In cooperation with Fonds de recherche du Québec  (FRQ), NordForsk is now launching a programme to promote researcher mobility between Quebec and the Nordic countries.

The specific aim of the programme is to fund short-term scientific missions with a view of fostering sustained collaboration between Nordic and Quebec researchers who have already conducted Nordic research with significant results in the fields of health, medicine, natural sciences, mathematics, engineering, social sciences, humanities, art or literature.

Up to a total of four researchers may be granted funding for a 1-3 month research visit in Quebec, preferably researchers within existing Nordic Centers of Excellence (NCoE) funded by NordForsk. The programme is open to researchers who hold residence permit in one of the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Denmark) or autonomous areas (Greenland, Åland, the Faroe Islands). The grant includes the round-trip transportation to Quebec and a living allowance.
