ESSAS will hold its 3rd International Open Science Meeting, 11-15 June 2017 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø.
Co-sponsored by IMR, the main theme is Moving in, out and across the Subarctic and Arctic marine ecosystems: shifting boundaries of water, ice, flora, fauna, people and institutions.

They are now accepting proposals for Workshops to be held on Sunday 11 June 2017, immediately preceding the ESSAS OSM. Proposals should be in by 15 October 2016. If you have an idea for a workshop please complete the attached form and send it to the organizers (they are listed on the form).
A note from Ken: "The duration of the workshops can be a full day or a half day. We have 3 rooms so we can have 3 full day workshops, 6 half day workshops or some combination of these. Franz, Sei-Ichi and I will make a decision on the proposals we receive based upon the quality of the proposals and their relevance to ESSAS and its objectives. Also, please inform your institutions and colleagues about this opportunity and send them the attached proposal form. Thanks."
